Anthony Gamblin
I am proud to be a member of FAME, and the continued efforts to address the inequalities in our education system. FAME has a great group of students dedicated to success both inside and outside the classroom; I look forward to seeing their continued growth.
Anthony graduated from the University of California Berkeley in May 2011, with a B.A. in Political Science. While there he worked with a program “Berkeley Scholars to CAL”, through the non-profit organization Stiles Hall. He was a tutor the first two years and a program coordinator his last two years at Cal.
Anthony is now a first year graduate student at Carnegie Mellon University, in the Heinz College. He is seeking his Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Management, with a concentration in education and management. He expects to graduate May of 2013.
As a FAME intern, Anthony helps in various areas. He assists with the daily operations of the organization, the creation of a study-skills workshop, and the expansion of the Fame program. Anthony plans to utilize the skills and experience gained from fame to address issues in education.
