Reginald Coles
Reggie Coles is the Global Information Technology Audit Manager for Alcoa, Inc, responsible for auditing controls of the company?s business information technology (IT) and process control manufacturing systems.
Mr. Coles joined Alcoa in 1981 in the Alcoa Management Information Services (AMIS) group, and has held various management and leadership positions in Information Technology (IT) at various Alcoa business and resource units.
While working at Alcoa's Tennessee Operations plant in Alcoa, TN, he served as a member of the Southeastern Consortium of Minorities in Engineering program, a partnership between Alcoa, Alcoa City school system, and Georgia Tech with purpose of getting students energized about studying and pursuing careers in science, mathematics, engineering, and technology.
Through the Men's organization at his church, he partnered with the guidance department at one of the inter-city middle schools in Knoxville, Tennessee and started a mentoring program for boys in grades 6-9. In his current position at Alcoa he serves as a mentor for several individuals in the company.
He graduated from Virginia State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science. He resides in Wexford, with his wife, Cornelia and their two children Mackenzie and Jackson.
