FAME's Board of Trustees, originally made up of the heads of the first five partner schools and the chairs of their boards, is currently comprised of seventeen dedicated individuals, all residing in the Greater Pittsburgh area. The board is intentionally diverse, 33% of board members are people of color and 47% are women, experts in their respective fields and regional business leaders.

FAME's Trustees, six of whom are appointed by the partner schools, meet quarterly to provide the organization with support, guidance, oversight and aid in the execution of FAME's mission.
